David: After God's Heart

David is one of the most well-known and well-loved characters in the Bible. Jesus is the central character in the story of Scripture, but David’s life and reign play a key role in our understanding of who Jesus is and how God prepared for his entry into history.

In this series we will look at selected passages about David's life recorded in 1st and 2nd Samuel. Our passionate desire is that we will learn more about what it means to be a people after God’s heart, and to become more fully the people who God says we are.
