The book of Hebrews was written to encourage marginalized and maligned Christians to continue in the faith. The author persuades readers to fix their eyes on Jesus, who is better than anyone and anything else that they might hope in. As we journey through this letter, we will consider its relevance for our situation and will ask, "do we believe that Jesus is better than ____________ in our lives?"
